Timberline Church | Feed My Soul: Psalm 51- Life Change | Aaron Hanson

Series: Feed My Soul

July 12, 2026 | Aaron Hanson

Real life change doesn't begin with trying harder, it begins with a changed heart. In Psalm 51, David's prayer of repentance reveals that God isn't looking for perfection, but for honest hearts that are willing to turn back to Him. Repentance is more than feeling sorry for our sin; it's an invitation to experience God's forgiveness, restoration, and transforming grace. As we confess our failures and take responsibility for them, God meets us with mercy and begins the work of making us new.

True repentance leads to more than forgiveness- it produces lasting fruit. God renews our hearts, refreshes our souls, and shapes us into people who reflect His character in every area of life. When we approach Him with humility and surrender, we discover that the greatest sacrifice we can offer is a heart fully yielded to Him. Lasting life change isn't something we achieve on our own- it's the miracle God accomplishes in us as we draw near to Him.
