Beloved Disciple

Timberline Fort Collins : Find Your Way To The Heart Of Jesus

Every disciple and early follower of Christ left a legacy for future believers. John's legacy was love. Perhaps like no other disciple, John understood that relationship is the point. Every command of Christ and call to obedience is to enhance relationship and place the recipient in a posture the Giver can bless. This study is about finding our way to the heart of Jesus and reclining so closely that our pulse begins to throb in tandem, loving what He loves and hating what He hates.

MOPS

Alpine and Columbine : Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. Our acronym stands for "Mothers of Preschoolers" because we began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 45 years, MOPS has expanded our community to include moms with school-aged kids. In addition, MOPS is partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 68 countries. Childcare is provided during meetings. [email protected].

The Quest

Timberline Fort Collins : Curiosity is hardwired in humanity. We have this innate need to question and seek after what we don't know or understand. In this 6-session Bible study, delve into Scripture to explore how God created us to seek after Him—a God who desires to be found and known. In this lifelong quest of faith, learn to develop your intimacy with Him and embrace the adventure that comes with living a life for God.

Breakthrough

Timberline Fort Collins : This study is written by Barb Roose who will be joining us LIVE in October. Register for the event here.

Let go of feeling like you are not a "good enough" Christian and find freedom in Christ by studying Paul's letter to the Galatians in Breakthrough by Barb Roose.

Have you ever felt that being a good Christian means you've got to follow a bunch of rules and measure up?If so, you aren't alone! In this six-week Bible study of Galatians, Barb Roose shows us that even the believers in the early church struggled to let go of rule-keeping and performance in order to embrace God's free gift of grace.

In his letter to the Galatians, Paul pours out his heart and faith to set them straight, addressing so many of the same questions and problems we still face today, such as…

- Who has led you to believe you have to follow rules to be right with God?

- Why do you think you have to try to be perfect for God?

- How do we stay free in Christ?

If you've ever struggled with these questions or felt trapped by rules or religion, this study will provide a path to discover your freedom in Christ.

Through this study women will learn to:

- Stop trying to measure up and embrace God's grace

- Distinguish between lies and truth

- Embrace God's promise of freedom

Join us Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. beginning September 9. Note: You will need to do a week's worth of homework AHEAD of the first meeting. The participant book is on Amazon. Buy your book here. I'm Waiting God

Timberline Fort Collins : This study is written by Barb Roose who will be joining us LIVE in October. Register for the event here.

Do you ever feel like God is taking too long to answer your prayers? Have you ever taken matters into your own hands, only to discover that you've made the situation worse? Waiting on God challenges our faith when the bills are stacking up, our families are falling apart, or our dreams feel like they won't come true. We know that God hears our prayers, but it's hard when the clock is ticking yet He hasn't shown us the answer.

In this four-week Bible study, Barb Roose invites us to explore the stories of women in the Bible who had to wait on God— women such as Hannah, Ruth, Martha, and the unnamed woman who suffered for over a decade with a painful medical condition. If you've felt anxious, angry, discouraged or depressed because God isn't giving you what you want, their stories will breathe fresh hope and practical next steps in your life. As a reforming control lover, Barb mixes in her personal stories of learning how to wait for God during long seasons of unanswered prayers, family difficulties, and challenging times in ministry. Together we will discover that there is goodness and blessing to be found in times of waiting, including a closer relationship with God than we've ever dared to dream.

Join us Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. beginning October 28.

Note: You will need to do a weeks worth of homework AHEAD of the first meeting. The participant book is on Amazon. Buy your book here. Once you get your book, please start working on Week 1. We will go over the material and watch the video for week 1 at the first meeting.

Loving Like Christ

If you are ready to explore your truths and Gods, join me on a journey to learn to love others and ourselves according to Christ's example of love. Contact us for the next available class now!
