MOPS: Columbine

Columbine : Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. Our acronym stands for "Mothers of Preschoolers" because we began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 45 years, MOPS has expanded our community to include moms with school-aged kids. In addition, MOPS is partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 68 countries. We currently have a waitlist for childcare. Contact us for more info.

Surrendered

Timberline Fort Collins : Join us Thursdays, January 13 through February 17, from 930-1130 am.

As we are journeying through this 6-week Bible study, you will learn how to let go by exploring Jesus' time of testing in the wilderness. As you look to His example, you'll discover six principles that will equip you to let God lead you to victory as you deal with the problems and pain you are facing. Along the way, you will compare Jesus' responses to the Israelites, who also faced a wilderness season centuries earlier. This study will equip you to give up control, reach for God, let go of fear, and experience the blessings of the surrendered life.

This study is a blessing. You will need to do a weeks' worth of homework AHEAD of the first meeting. The participant book is on Amazon for $13.99.  Buy your book here. Once you get your book, please start working on Week 1. We will go over the material and watch the video for week 1 at the first meeting. I'm so excited to do this study with you! Please bring a friend.

Beautiful Already

Timberline Fort Collins : Join us Thursdays, March 10 through April 14, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

During this six-week Bible study, women will unpack the beliefs or experiences that are holding them hostage. We will explore God's truth about beauty throughout the Scriptures, digging into passages in both the Old and New Testaments and applying the truths in their lives. We will move away from over-focusing on unrealistic expectations and perceived flaws toward God's viewpoint of their hearts, minds, bodies and souls.

As women make this journey, we will:

-Be set free from the trap of comparison and self-ridicule -Become comfortable in their own skin -Reach beyond themselves to encourage and support other women

By learning to see the goodness, blessing, and purpose for our bodies no matter our size, shape, or style, women will overcome discontent and comparison and learn to live fully as the beautifully unique creations God designed us to be.

Breakthrough

Timberline Fort Collins : Join us Thursdays, January 13 through February 24, 930-1130 am. We will NOT be meeting January 20.

Let go of feeling like you are not a "good enough" Christian and find freedom in Christ by studying Paul's letter to the Galatians in Breakthrough by Barb Roose.

Have you ever felt that being a good Christian means you've got to follow a bunch of rules and measure up?

If so, you aren't alone! In this six-week Bible study of Galatians, Barb Roose shows us that even the believers in the early church struggled to let go of rule-keeping and performance in order to embrace God's free gift of grace.

In his letter to the Galatians, Paul pours out his heart and faith to set them straight, addressing so many of the same questions and problems we still face today, such as…

- Who has led you to believe you have to follow rules to be right with God? - Why do you think you have to try to be perfect for God? - How do we stay free in Christ?

If you've ever struggled with these questions or felt trapped by rules or religion, this study will provide a path to discover your freedom in Christ.

Through this study women will learn to:

- Stop trying to measure up and embrace God's grace - Distinguish between lies and truth - Embrace God's promise of freedom

Note: You will need to do a weeks worth of homework AHEAD of the first meeting. The participant book is on Amazon  Buy your book here. Once you get your book, please start working on Week 1. We will go over the material and watch the video for week 1 at the first meeting.

Join us for this 8-week class from September 9 – October 28. Join us in at 9:30 a.m. in room 204 or at 7 p.m. via zoom.
