Prayerful Reading Through Luke and Acts

Women's Bible Study 22': Prayerful Reading through Luke and Acts
Starts Thursday, April 14, 9:30- 11 a.m., in room 204.

Slow Down and Connect with God. This study introduces readers to the timeless practice of lectio divina, or sacred reading. With each reading, there is space for journaling observations, reflections and prayers. As a group, we will explore what we have learned between each session. This is a perfect resource to add depth and increased communication with God to your personal study.
There is homework in this study. It can be as long or short as you need each day, but at least 15 minutes.

When Strivings Cease

Timberline Fort Collins : Join us Tuesdays, April 19 through May 24, 6:30-8 p.m., room 210.

In this six-session video Bible study, Wall Street Journal bestselling and award-winning author Ruth Chou Simons reminds us that the answer we're looking for isn't the latest and greatest strategy for self-improvement; it's the transforming gift of amazing grace.

You'll walk away understanding more fully that the generous, unmerited favor of God is the means to the welcome, love, and approval you so deeply long for.

We will be using the chapter book for this study. You are welcome to purchase the study guide if you would like, but it is not required.

MOPS: Columbine

Columbine : Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. Our acronym stands for "Mothers of Preschoolers" because we began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 45 years, MOPS has expanded our community to include moms with school-aged kids. In addition, MOPS is partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 68 countries. We currently have a waitlist for childcare. Contact us for more info.

Book Club

Timberline Fort Collins : Connect with Christian women who want to grow in their faith and enjoy reading and discussing Christian non-fiction books. Meet twice a month September - May on the first and the third Wednesday of the month, 9:30 - 11 a.m. in room 205. We'll devote two meetings to one book, with each month's book determined by majority vote at the previous month's book club. Starts September 15.
