What does a typical TSM Middle School look like?
At TSM we want Jesus to be more than a moment in your student’s week, but a movement in their life. On Sundays in Fort Collins, we gather for worship, games, teaching, and small group connections in grade and gender groups (i.e. 6thgrade girls all meet together, 6thgrade boys all meet together, etc.). On Wednesdays in Fort Collins, we gather for a game and then head off to our grade groups to really dive into scripture and group discussion.
On Wednesday nights at our Windsor campus, we welcome kids and hangout for the first 15 minutes, then play a group game, have a short teaching, and split into small groups. Most of our time is spent in small groups because we believe it is important for students to connect with kids their own gender and age and grow in community!
Do I need to sign up my student?
Not for our weekly meetings. All you need to do is show up! If you would like to arrive a little before we start we would be happy to introduce you and your student to their grade group leader.
What camps and retreats do you have coming up?
Middle School Sumer Camp | Silver Cliff Ranch, Nathrop, CO | May 29-June 1 | Registration Info
Are Pastor Justin and JMatt the same person?
They are! We get this question all the time! Pastor Justin Matthews and JMatt are the same person and both are equally fun and dedicated to the University of Tennessee and Jesus.
Who is my student’s leader?
We have an incredible team of adults that are dedicated to helping your student grow in Christ. Our leaders receive ongoing training and support (weekly meetings, monthly coaching sessions, yearly retreats) to develop their skills and keep them energized. All adult leaders have been background checked.
