Timberline Church | Feed My Soul: Psalm 118- "The Song" | Jeff Lucas
Series: Feed My Soul
June 21, 2026 | Jeff Lucas
Psalm 118 has been called “the Song”- a hymn so significant that it was sung by generations of God’s people and even by Jesus Himself on the night before His crucifixion. Rooted in God’s faithfulness throughout Israel’s history, this psalm reminds us that when life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or difficult, we can anchor ourselves in the unchanging goodness of God. By remembering His faithfulness in the past, we find strength and hope for whatever we face today.
In a world marked by fear, stress, and constant noise, Psalm 118 invites us to gather in community, bring our honest prayers before God, and rest in the assurance of His presence. Whether our prayers come through words, tears, groans, or silent cries, God hears them all. His enduring love remains constant, His presence drives out fear, and His faithfulness gives us confidence to trust Him through every season of life.
