The Care Ministry’s mission is to demonstrate compassion and care in the lives of people.

GriefShare

GriefShare: GriefShare is a grief recovery support group where you can find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. Learn more about this group by clicking here. This group meets in person Sundays at 10 a.m. in Room 201.

Loss of a Spouse

Loss of a Spouse : Losing a spouse can be a difficult thing to grieve through and heal from, especially alone. Find ways to cope, grieve, and heal alongside others struggling through a similar loss. Learn more here.

Prayer Teams

Prayer Teams : The Core Prayer Team prays throughout the week for prayer needs submitted to pastors, the church office, in our social spaces or on the website. If you would like to be part of this team, please email us. If you are in need of prayer, please connect with a pastor during weekend services, submit a prayer request while watching services online, or by filling out the prayer request form on this page.

The Well

The Well : The Well is designed to provide enriched support with information and care on a variety of topics including depression, anxiety, grief, stress, divorce, and more. Visit this online resource here.

Funerals

Funerals : In this most difficult season, Timberline Church can assist families in organizing and facilitating funeral services.

Dementia Care

Dementia Care: This group meets to help provide support, events, and resources to care partners and their loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia.

The Memory Café meets the 3rd Monday of each month. Memory Cafés are social gatherings for people with mild to moderate cognitive impairment AND their care partners who want to remain engaged with others traveling the dementia journey. Memory Cafés show that there is a lot of joyful living to do even when dementia is part of the journey.

The Care Partners Support Group meets the second Friday of each month.

Meals Ministry

Meals Ministry: Upon request, we provide short-term meals for people after a hospital stay, death in the family, or other emergency situations. If you are in need of meal support, please let us know by emailing us.

DivorceCare

DivorceCare : DivorceCare helps you recover from the pain of separation and divorce. This is a 13-week class conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing and provide divorce support and divorce resources. Most importantly, you will learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. You will meet others who understand what you are feeling and who will be able to offer you encouragement. This group focuses on Biblical teachings for recovery from divorce and separation. Group closes four weeks after starting.

Veterans Ministry

Veterans Ministry : This group is designed to help support veterans, their families, and friends. The meetings take place the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in room 214 at Timberline Church Fort Collins campus.

FAQs
How can I submit a prayer request?

The easiest way to submit a prayer request is to fill out the form above. If you prefer, you can also your prayer request or call (970) 207-6177 and leave your request on a voicemail that is monitored hourly during office hours.

Does Timberline Church host funerals?

Yes. We are honored to help with funerals in any way that we are able. If you would like a Timberline pastor to officiate a memorial, if you’d like to have a service at one of our facilities, or if you would like some extra support as you grieve, we would be honored to help — simply fill out the "I Need Help" form above, or email us.

What support groups do you offer?

There are many support groups available, including those ministries listed above on this page. Groups include GriefShare, Quest for Exceptional Love, Dementia Care and Memory Café, Al-Anon, Veterans, and DivorceCare.

Can a pastor pray with me?

Absolutely! You can click here and fill out the form to request speaking with a pastor. Or you may call any of our campuses during our normal office hours or during our weekend services and speak with the Pastor on Call.

Does Timberline Church offer counseling?

None of our pastors are trained counselors so we are unable to offer counseling, but we do have an extended list of vetted Christian counselors and can help make a recommendation for you. Just click here to make your request, or contact any of the campuses listed on that Contact page.

I’m having surgery, can I ask for a pastor to come visit me?

Yes! We have a team of pastors, staff members, and volunteers who visit hospitals, rehab facilities, and who do check-ins and shut-ins. You can simply fill out the "I Need Help" form above to request a visit. If you prefer, you may leave a message on our hospital line at (970) 482-4387 ext. 503 and request a visit from our team. This voicemail is checked daily and we will do our best to accommodate all requests.

Does Timberline help with rent, utilities, or car repair needs?

Does Timberline communicate personal needs from the pulpit?

Based on our size and more effective ways of communicating, we do not share personal needs from the pulpit but utilize other ways that better serve our community.
