Timberline Church | Feed My Soul: Psalm 119 - The Psalm That Never Ends | Aaron Hanson
Series: Feed My Soul
July 19, 2026 | Aaron Hanson
Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible, yet its singular focus is remarkably simple: the life-changing power of God's Word. In a world filled with competing voices and shifting opinions, we're invited to see Scripture not merely as history or literature, but as God's living revelation to humanity. The way we view the Bible shapes the way we receive it, and ultimately, the way we live. Jesus Himself treated God's Word as the ultimate authority, making it the foundation for His life and ministry- and we're called to do the same.
When God's Word becomes the authority in our lives, it transforms us from the inside out. It provides direction when we're unsure of the path ahead, becomes a refuge and source of hope in life's hardest moments, and fills our hearts with a joy that nothing else can satisfy. More than a collection of ancient writings, the Bible points us to Jesus- the living Word- and invites us into a deeper relationship with Him, where truth becomes more than information; it becomes the source of a flourishing life.
