ERIE, COLORADO, USA — Mark and Jessica serve as missionaries with the college campus ministry CRU.
Their choices in college set the course for their lives. While Jessica attended the University of Colorado and Mark attended Kent State University, they each had the opportunity to be involved with the Christian ministry on campus—Cru. Throughout their time in college they both saw how desperately college students needed to hear about Jesus Christ and learn to live for Him. Upon graduation they knew there was no better way to spend spend lives and careers.
Between the two of them, they have served with Cru in Colorado, Ohio, Chicago, Orlando, Russia and Greece. Currently they are working with Destino, Cru's ministry to Latino students. There they use their gifts in media, technology, and writing to move campus ministries across the U.S. and around the world forward in their mission to reach college students for Christ. These are crucial areas for their ministries to excel in as they engage students with the love and hope of Jesus in a digital age. Through their work they help students to meet Jesus Christ, fall in love with Him and serve Him wherever God sends them after graduation.
Our Story - Mark was raised in London, Ontario and attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio where he studied photography. Jessica was raised in Loveland, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado where she studied journalism. They met in 2005 while both working for Cru’s magazine, Worldwide Challenge. They were married in 2006 and have three sons, Isaac, Elliot, and Judah. Along with their sons, they enjoy being in ministry as a family!
