Series: Storehouse

What if everything we have was never really ours to begin with? In a world that encourages us to accumulate more, protect what we've earned, and measure success by what we own, Jesus invites us to see our possessions through a different lens. Kicking off our Storehouse series, Matthew 6 challenges us to consider where we're investing our treasure and what that reveals about our hearts. Rather than building our lives around things that will eventually fade away, we're called to shift our perspective from ownership to stewardship, recognizing that everything we have is ultimately a gift from God.

True stewardship begins with three simple truths: God owns it, we manage it, and our hearts follow where we invest it. Whether we have much or little, God calls us to faithfully manage what He has entrusted to us for His purposes. When we move beyond an earthly mindset of accumulation and begin investing in what has eternal value, we discover a greater sense of freedom, purpose, and generosity. Ultimately, Jesus isn't after our money—He's after our hearts. As we learn to trust Him with our resources, we're invited to experience the joy of building a treasure that lasts forever.
