U COUNT volunteers support the ministry in a variety of practical ways based on current needs, individual skills, and areas of interest. Opportunities may include assisting with events, organizing or preparing materials, supporting awareness and fundraising efforts, helping with administrative tasks, assembling resources, or serving wherever an extra set of hands is needed. Volunteers should be willing to serve as part of a team and represent U COUNT and our church with compassion, respect, and discretion.

The time commitment for this position is flexible and dependent on the volunteer opportunity. Some opportunities may be one-time events or projects, while others may involve recurring service. Volunteers can choose opportunities that fit their availability.

Volunteers should be passionate about serving others and seeing an end to human trafficking and exploitation. They should have a heart for demonstrating Christ's love through compassionate, practical action and believe in the inherent dignity and worth of every person.

A servant-hearted attitude, dependability, flexibility, and the ability to work well with others are most important. Volunteers should be able to follow directions, communicate respectfully, maintain appropriate confidentiality, and be willing to help wherever needed. Specific opportunities may benefit from additional skills such as organization, hospitality, event support, administration, creativity, or communication.

Volunteers must support the mission and values of U COUNT and follow all ministry guidelines, including expectations regarding confidentiality, appropriate boundaries, and respectful communication. Additional training and a background check are also required for U COUNT.
