This position includes greeting and creating a welcoming atmosphere for individuals approaching the auditorium, both before and after the service starts, while at the same time maintaining a proper and respectful atmosphere within the auditorium once the service starts.

Also, opening and closing the auditorium doors at specific times during the service, passing the offering, counting attendees, possible assistance in processing the offering once it's been collected.

The time commitment is a minimum of two services per month.  Start time is 8:00 am for first service and 10:10am for the second service. Schedule varies for Christmas and Easter services.

The volunteer for this position should be passionate about making everyone who attends church feel comfortable by greeting them, seating them, and watching over them during the service.

Skills needed include situational awareness to see and address needs as they arise, friendly communication skills and ability to pass the offering in a timely manner. 

Volunteer must pass a background check and be trustworthy with financial information.
