SAINT Volunteer Transportation - Social Media and Storytelling Volunteer

This position entails helping to collect and share stories from SAINT riders, drivers, and community partners, interviewing volunteers or riders (with guidance and permission from staff), assisting in writing posts or creating short social media features, capturing photos or short videos to highlight SAINT's impact, and working with staff to keep SAINT's online presence engaging and mission-centered.

This opportunity can be shared by two volunteers: one who enjoys photography and interviewing people to capture stories and images and one who focuses on writing and social media, turning those stories into meaningful posts and updates.

The time commitment is flexible.  It can be done in-person or remotely. Ideally one to four hours per week, depending on projects or story opportunities.

The volunteer for this position should be someone who loves people, stories, and connection. Volunteers in this role should be passionate about celebrating the good in our community and helping others see beauty in everyday.

Skills needed include strong writing and communication, enjoyment of photography, creativity and comfort with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram), ability to listen deeply and tell stories with empathy and care and dependability and respect for confidentiality.

Must pass a criminal background check.
