Ushers greet those who enter the sanctuary and help them find a seat. On some occasions, communion will need to be served. Passing the collection plate will be expected.
The time commitment for this position is every Saturday evening or Sunday morning, every other month and Christmas Eve (for one hour).
This position is for you if you're passionate about making everyone who attends church feel comfortable by greeting them, seating them, and watching over them during the service.
An ability to notice what is going on around them, the ability to pass the collection plate in a timely manner, and showing a friendly smile and attitude to all are all skills that are helpful for this position.
