Timberline Church | Where Does My Help Come From? | Keith Jenkins

Series: Timberline Church Fort Collins

September 20, 2026 | Keith Jenkins

Where do you turn when you need help? Psalm 121 reminds us that while we often look to other people or even within ourselves for the strength, wisdom, and security we need, neither can carry the weight of our deepest dependence. People can support and encourage us, but they cannot provide what only God can give. And relying solely on our own understanding can lead us away from the One who knows us and sees what lies ahead.

Our true help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He never sleeps, never loses sight of us, and faithfully watches over every part of our lives. Instead of depending on our own strength or expecting others to meet needs only God can fulfill, we're invited to look to Him with confidence. Whatever we face, we can trust that God is present, He is our Helper, and He will remain with us now and forever.
