Human trafficking is one of the greatest giants of our time. Its scope can feel overwhelming, with an estimated 49.6 million lives affected, countless families wounded, and a darkness that stretches across communities, cities, and nations. When we confront this reality, it’s easy to feel small, unsure, or even helpless. The problem seems too big, too complicated, too entrenched for any one person to make a difference.
Throughout Scripture, God shows us that giants don’t fall because of human strength alone. They fall when ordinary people step forward with faith, courage, and a willingness to use what God has placed in their hands.
David didn’t defeat Goliath because he had the perfect plan or the strongest armor. He stepped onto the battlefield with a sling, a few small stones, and complete confidence that God would meet him there. His victory reminds us that God only asks us to bring what we already have and to trust Him with the rest.

The fight against human trafficking is no different. None of us can end it alone. But each of us carries something essential: compassion, time, resources, prayer, or a willingness to show up for someone who needs hope. When we offer these pieces, our few small stones, God weaves them together into something powerful.
We are not meant to fight alone. When volunteers, churches, nonprofits, law enforcement, educators, donors, and everyday people come together, the giant begins to lose its footing. Each act of kindness, each moment of awareness, each effort to support a survivor becomes another strike against that darkness. What feels impossible individually becomes unstoppable collectively.

And the greatest strength we have is the presence of God Himself. Human trafficking is not just a social crisis but a spiritual battle. And the God who empowers His people has a long history of toppling giants. He gives courage to those who feel small, strength to those who feel weary, and light to shine into places that seem unbearably dark.
Join us on January 18 in Windsor and the weekend of January 24 & 25 in Fort Collins to hear our guest speaker, Ruth Dearnley OBE, Founder & President of STOP THE TRAFFIK, share how data, technology, and a culture of collaboration are helping prevent human trafficking to bring down the giant.
The giant of human trafficking is real. But so is our God. And when we stand together, empowered by His strength, this giant can and will fall.
