EQUIP Adult Bible Studies

EQUIP Bible Study classes meet on Sunday mornings (during services @ 10 & 11:30am), September thru May. Classes are always open and drop-ins are welcome. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with others as you grow in your personal spiritual journey with Christ.

The purpose of EQUIP is to provide people with the resources to understand the "what" and "why" of the Christian faith, and explore how we can live compelling lives in our culture. We seek to accomplish this by offering environments where people can find real answers to tough questions, and explore the biblical meaning of following Jesus as a disciple. plan to join a new class starting January 13th, 2019.

Engaging Islam

Instructor: Wes Tucker
Engaging Islam is a 14 week series based on the book, "Engaging Islam," by Georges Houssney. Each chapter of the book has study questions relating to the reading (usually only about 10-15 easy pages). The course will lead us through the author's personal struggle to discover God's love for the Muslim lost, explain to us the history and foundations of the Muslim belief system, help us see past the seeming overlap between the Qur'an and the Bible, learn to answer typical Muslim objections and misconceptions of Christianity and prepare us to see and reach out to Muslims with the love of Jesus. We will likely get to hear the testimony of a former Muslim or two who have accepted Christ as their Savior!
