English Language Institue / China (ELIC)

ELIC provides overseas teaching opportunities in multiple countries as part of English-language teaching teams at universities with terms lasting from a summer to two years. See www.elic.org/learn-more/jobs for more information and to inquire.

The Teaching Fellowship Program is an eleven-month English teaching experience for recent college graduates up to the age of 25. Participants serve on teams of three to eight, including a team leader who is committed to mentoring in both teaching and life. While most of those we teach through this program are university students, some teams serve in primary or middle schools. This opportunity provides a great foundation for professional and interpersonal growth. If you’ve ever considered long-term service overseas, this is the perfect opportunity to test the waters for a year. A high percentage of those who begin in this program go on to serve longer-term in our University Teaching Program.

Christian Chiropractors Association

This nondenominational, evangelical, nonprofit organization was founded over 60 years ago with a primary focus of missions. They send out teams of chiropractors and laypersons to destinations throughout the world (and in the US) to reach those who would not have access to this type of healthcare and to share the good news of Christ with the lost.

They are searching for someone to assume the missions directors position with the association (a part-time position with some compensation). This person would be asked to encourage their members to participate on these mission trips, coordinate the details of CCA-sponsored trips, investigate new opportunities for service, and work with other mission agencies who welcome their members to join their teams. The director works with the others on their Home Office staff, helps with regular activities for the association, and is expected to attend the biannual board of directors meetings. For more information, contact Carla at 970-482-1404 or email cca@christianchiropractors.org.
